Candygrams Fundraiser

On February 14, we held our first fundraiser of 2026: Valentine's Day Candygrams! We were selling bags filled with candy and cards near the Vancouver Art Gallery, and all our members had a lot of fun doing this event. We were there for around 4 hours starting at noon, and in the end, we sold all 50+ bags and made a profit of $130+ for BC Children's Hospital!

Throughout this event, we had many conversations with people from various backgrounds. One notable interaction was with someone who was giving roses for free, and those who wanted one had to call someone they loved, and both people had to say one thing they loved about each other. It was a really sweet initiative, and we supported each other's activities.

We also noticed that there are many other hard-working people who were making others' Valentine's Day sweeter. There was a musician singing live while we were selling, and a girl who was giving out flowers to strangers to thank them. We were so touched by their efforts that we decided to gift each of them a bag of candy as a token of appreciation for what they did for the community.

Overall, it was a really memorable experience, and we hope to host another fundraiser soon!
